This is a flat, scalloped-edge Afghani replica pendant cast in bronze. There are 9 round raised dots on the top adding a wonderful, tribal pattern. It measures 35mm across the width by 42.5mm tall and is oxidized to bring out the details. There is a small bail/looped metal piece at the top for connecting to.
Bronze is an alloy of copper (usually about 90%) and tin, often also containing small amounts of other metals such as silicon, iron, lead or zinc. The color is affected by the proportion of tin or other metals present. These pieces I'm offering are from *yellow* bronze, which resembles a brass-gold color.
